Research Students from Kyoto University and Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology Organized a Kyoto U-VISTEC Student Joint Seminar on Functional Materials.

Following up on the very successful VISTEC-Kyoto U Joint Symposium in November 2023 on “Recent Advances in Chemistry and Smart Materials” which marks the 5th anniversary of the Kyoto University onsite lab, research students from respective laboratories of both institutions came together on 23 February 2024 for a student joint seminar on “Functional Materials”. 

The joint seminar was entirely organized by students having Dr. Hiroyasu Tabe and Dr. Kanokwan Kongpatpanich as mentors.

Dr. Hiroyasu Tabe later wrote, “We really enjoyed the outstanding research as well as communication…an important milestone for VISTEC-Kyoto collaboration.
