Secure and Scalable Machine Learning Systems Symposium
9 February 2026School of Information Science and Technology (IST) organized The 2nd IST Reinventing University Symposium under the theme “Secure and Scalable Machine Learning Systems Symposium”. The event was held at the Passion Room (4th Floor), CAREER@SCB (RCP), Siam Commercial Bank, Bangkok, with 51 participants in attendance. The symposium brought together 12 invited speakers from academia and industry to share insights, experiences, and best practices in designing, training, evaluating, and deploying machine learning systems at scale. Discussions focused on key system-level challenges, including scalability, security, robustness, data governance, and evaluation frameworks, lighting practical engineering approaches for building reliable large-scale ML systems across distributed infrastructure, multilingual and multimodal model training, privacy and security, and automated testing.
