Cleantech and Beyond Co., Ltd. is a deep-tech spin-off from the Electronic Devices and Materials Innovation Laboratory (EDM Lab), School of Molecular Science and Engineering (MSE), VISTEC, founded in 2023 under the leadership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Pichaya Pattanasattayavong. The company was established with seed funding from VISUP Co., Ltd. after completing three critical phases—basic research, technology development, and product development—with strong support from VISTEC, IRPC, PMUC, and NIA.

The company’s core expertise lies in advanced materials innovation, particularly the development of thermoresponsive materials, a breakthrough that can sense temperature and display changes in both physical and electrical properties. This invention has been recognized with an international patent, strengthening its position as a pioneer in smart materials.

Flagship Product: Digital Temperature Indicator (DTI)

The Digital Temperature Indicator (DTI) is the world’s first battery-free, wireless temperature monitoring label designed for irreversible and tamper-proof thermal recording. Built from Cleantech’s patented thermoresponsive materials, DTI permanently changes state when exposed to preset critical temperatures. The change is detectable visually (color change) and digitally (QR Code, RFID, NFC), providing reliable, item-level traceability without power.

To maximize value, DTI integrates seamlessly with ThermoTrace, Cleantech’s proprietary data management platform. ThermoTrace enables users to collect, visualize, and analyze temperature data in real time—via cloud, mobile, or on-premise systems—supporting preventive maintenance, process optimization, and regulatory compliance across industries.
