Internship at VISTEC: Application Information

        Interested in becoming a VISTEC Intern? Prepare your application carefully to ensure a smooth and successful submission.

    1. Study the Laboratory and School You Would Like to Join

         Before preparing application documents, you are strongly encouraged to explore the laboratories and schools at VISTEC that align with your academic background and research interests. A clear understanding of each school’s research focus will enable you to effectively prepare your application and demonstrate alignment with the faculty member’s areas of expertise. Please visit the overall research areas via Research Focus section. Further details on the four schools are provided below:

         In addition, you are advised to proactively contact the laboratories, schools, or faculty members of interest to discuss your academic background, research experience, and areas of interest. This will help assess the suitability and alignment between your profile and the faculty member's research directions, ensuring a strong and beneficial collaboration for both. After the discussion, you may proceed with the application in the next step.

          ・Accident Insurance ID Card or Contract (Incomplete submissions may result in rejection.)
             (may be submitted later, but no later than 7 days before arrival at VISTEC)

          ・Safety Self-Assessment (FM-SHE-006)

          ・Validate Laboratory Safety Certificate 
              Chemical Safety Certificate (required for MSE, ESE, and BSE internships) 
Bio-Safety Certificate (required for BSE internships only) 
         If you do not have the certificate, please contact our QSHE department at wasusate.s@vistec.ac.th before submitting the application. Students whose home university includes chemical safety as a mandatory requirement may submit their course's syllabus as evidence of completed training, provided the safety components are explicitly detailed.

        ⚠️ Important: 
         Incomplete submissions may result in rejection. 
         All required forms must be submitted within 7 days after completing the internship application.

        For students applying independently (without home university faculty recommendation):

    4. How to Prepare Your Documents

          ・Upload all required documents to your personal online drive (e.g., Google Drive, OneDrive).

          ・Set the sharing permission to “Public” and submit the URL in the application form.

          ・All files must be in PDF format.

    5. Fill the Application Form for Internship (Online)

         After submitting the application form only, our staff will contact you within 7 days. Please ensure that all documents are ready in the shared folder.

         Note: 

         ・The internship application period is paused annually from February to March due to dormitory maintenance and management. The application process resumes in April.

         ・The application form and required attachments must be submitted at least 60 days before the internship start date. Applications submitted less than 60 days in advance may be rejected. For example, for an internship starting on 1 April, the application must be submitted by the end of January.
