KVIS students meets VISTEC and publish their research work in a scientific journal
Congratulations to Napat Kerewanmas and Natthanan Kongchu, two ex-students from the Kamnoetvidya Science Academy (KVIS), for their publications in the Journal of Emerging Investigators!
The two students showed that infrared camera could be successfully applied to monitor reaction kinetics during the preparation of polyurethane foams. The project was completed in the frame of a research work of the two KVIS students together with Dr. Thanit Pewnim (KVIS), Dr. Janjira Maneesan (KVIS), Dr. Ratchapol Jenjob (VISTEC), and Assoc. Prof. Daniel Crespy (VISTEC).
This simple method can be used for quality control during the production of these economically important materials (60.5 billion USD in 2017 of worldwide consumption).
After completing M. 6 from KVIS, Napat Kerewanmas received a scholarship from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), where he is completing his second semester. Natthanan Kongchu decided to continue his education in the Faculty of Science in the Kyoto University International Undergraduate Program. We wish them good luck in their future endeavor and are looking forward to working with them again!
