In the frame of our collaborative VISTEC-Max Planck laboratory, we published recently our research in Nanoscale and ACS Nano. In the latter publication, we engineered nanovehicles that are able to move upon activation by temperature of light irradiation. On the contrary to known systems, these nanovehicles contain their own fuel so that it does not need to be continuously added from the external media.
