A PhD student of the School of Energy Science and Engineering (ESE), Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Montree Sawangphruk.
His work entitled “Insight into the effect of additives widely used in lithium–sulfur batteries” has been highlighted as the outside front cover of Chemical Communications (Chemical Communications, 2019, 55, 13951 - 13954.)
The interaction between the reactive lithium metal surface and LiNO3 results in the formation of LixNOy clusters, which can protect the Li metal anode and suppress the shuttling effect of lithium polysulfides via the dipole–dipole interaction called the lithium bond.
