Congratulations to Tiwa Yimyai!

Tiwa Yimyai, a PhD student at VISTEC, created stretchable and self-healing composite materials which have the ability to change color depending on the intensity of UV upon exposure to sunlight. The project, undertaken in a collaboration between the lab of Assoc. Prof. Daniel Crespy at VISTEC and Assist. Prof. Abdon Pena-Francesch at the University of Michigan, led to the fabrication of textile-mounted and wristband devices for applications in smart packaging, and healthcare wearable technology. The outcome of the research has been published in Advanced Functional Materials.
