Scopus is Elsevier’s abstract and citation database launched in 2004. Scopus covers nearly 36,377 titles (22,794 active titles and 13,583 inactive titles) from approximately 11,678 publishers, of which 34,346 are peer-reviewed journals in top-level subject fields: life sciences, social sciences, physical sciences and health sciences.

The Cambridge Structural Database (CSD)
The CSD was one of the first numerical scientific databases to make maximum use of crystallographic data in applications in the life sciences and crystallography.

EndNote is a reference management software package, used to manage references and citations when writing essays and articles. It is produced by Clarivate Analytics (previously by Thomson Reuters).


Turnitin is an Internet-based plagiarism-prevention service created by iParadigms, LLC, first launched in 1997. The results can be used to identify similarities to existing sources or can be used in formative assessment to help students learn how to avoid plagiarism and improve their writing.
