Welcome to the School of Energy Science and Engineering (ESE) at the Vidyasirimedhi Institute of Science and Technology (VISTEC), where we are committed to pursuing excellence in energy science & engineering education and research. 

ESE was founded in 2015 and located at Wangchan Valley, where is the Eastern Economic Corridor of Innovation (EECi) in Rayong, Thailand, which is 130 km from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Bangkok. We are a very dynamic and rapidly growing school. ESE is widely recognized as one of the top schools in Thailand and Southeast Asia. 

In ESE, we are working towards advanced functional materials, cutting-edge catalysis, frontier energy science and engineering, and green engineering processes from the lab scale to the pilot plant scale. We are also working closely with industries including PTT group for upscaling and manufacturing of our research discoveries towards commercialization and sustainability.  

Besides, ESE with strategic agility and resilience is committed to providing top-quality education and nurturing the next generation of scientists, engineers, innovators, and leaders in energy science and engineering. With our dedicated and passionate faculty members and professional supporting staff, ESE can offer educational programs to various groups of students: MEng and PhD students (coursework or research), as well as workshops and training for adults (Upskill and Reskill). At ESE, we are well-equipped with excellent research laboratories, along with the frontier research facilities, and smart digital infrastructures at EECi. Overall, ESE at VISTEC provides an outstanding and green environment for education and research.
